POLE BENDING
(All Ages)

1. Six poles, each at least 6 feet tall, placed in a straight line. Each pole is spaced 21 feet apart from the next. The first pole sits 21 feet away from the start-finish line. The Timer (Start finish) is marked with orange flags on the fence.
2. The Run: The horse and rider sprint down the right or left side of the line of poles to the farthest end pole. The Turn and Weave: They turn around the end pole and weave back through the line in a serpentine pattern. The Finish: After turning the last pole at the starting end, they weave down again, turn the final far pole, and race straight across the finish line.
