POLE BENDING 
(All Ages)

1.  Six poles, each at least 6 feet tall, placed in a straight line. Each pole is spaced 21 feet apart from the next. The first pole sits 21 feet away from the start-finish line. ​The Timer (Start finish) is marked with orange flags on the fence. 

2. The Run: The horse and rider sprint down the right or left side of the line of poles to the farthest end pole. The Turn and Weave: They turn around the end pole and weave back through the line in a serpentine pattern. The Finish: After turning the last pole at the starting end, they weave down again, turn the final far pole, and race straight across the finish line.

    1. Fastest Time Wins

     2. Penalties: A 5-second penalty for every           pole knocked down.

     3. Disqualification:

         Going off-course

         looping back through the eye 

          wrong side of poles
