2026 Wyoming 4-H Stud Fee Giveaway
Smallwood Stallion Station Started Donating a stud Fee in 2023 based off of an essay contest for all Park County Wyoming 4-Hers!
In 2026 so many great Stallion owners Donated stud fees so that more wonderful 4H members could win a stud fee to raise their own 4H horse.
here are the rules and guidelines:
Application for Free Stud Fee
RULES & GUIDELINES:

Applicants Must be a Member of the 4-H in the State of Wyoming

( 2026 enrollment and dues complete)

Applicant Must Complete the Application and write an Essay

Must own or lease a mare to carry Foal (this is Stud fee only not a foal)

Must fill out all required paperwork with Stallion Owner if selected for stud fee

Some of the studs will require winner to pay shipping and collection

If you would like to apply for a specific stallion please let us know in your essay which stud you would like to be considered for. If you don’t have a preference you will be considered for all stallions but can only win one.

The Essays will be judged by stallion owners and they will pick the winner for their stallion

All Applications are due April 15th, and stud fee must be used in 2025. Rebreeds and LFG are between youth and Stallion owner.

These Stud Fees are NOT Transferable, they can not be given away, traded, or sold, they are to be used by the Selected youth ONLY

Ima exec doc known as Debo to those who know him best. He is a gentleman that is easy to be around. He is training for the show ring and is quick and willing to learn new skills. Karen Johnston shows Debo at local shows and has plans to take him to more ApHC level shows in 2025. She purchased him from Double Hook Ranch Kathy & Chris (passed away in 2024) Morales. He has a very limited number of foals on the ground but we are so excited for his future as his current foals are fantastic.

Friendly fury better known as compadre is a 2012 AQHA sorrel stallion. Compadre is 7 panel N/N, he’s listed with APHA & ApHC as well. Compadre is the epitome of tough, he still competes at the age of 12 after surviving a truck and trailer wreck in 2019 that should have ended his life and career. Other than Barrel racing Compadre has competed in western dressage, ranch versatility, some local english equitation, and he loves to jump.

PF Kool Flyer, also known as Buster was born and raised at Pendergraft Farms in Oklahoma, we acquired him in the spring of 2024. He stood with us last summer to limited mares and his first foal crop will arrive this spring. He is started under saddle but hasn't had an occupation yet. Buster spent 30 days with Herman Stutzman restarting undersaddle, he excelled. Buster absolutely loves to work he waits at his gate to go to the arena every day. I will be starting him on the barrel in the winter of 2025 and hopefully he will be entering barrel races in 2026. He has a wonderful personality loves people and is easy to be around.
