egg and spoon race is a fun equestrian game where riders balance an egg on a spoon while navigating an arena or course on horseback.

How to Play

• The Setup: Each rider gets a spoon and an egg.  Riders hold the spoon in one hand and the reins in the other (or ride entirely with one hand). The riders line up on the rail and Speeds and tasks are called by the announcer. 

• The Rules: Players must hold only the stem of the spoon with their fingers—no cheating by using a thumb or finger to balance or hold the egg directly. 

• If a rider drops their egg, they are  eliminated  The last rider remaining  with their egg intact wins
