(Pee Wee Only)

Image 3.jpeg

A horse play day boot race is a fun, mounted equestrian game where riders race down the arena, dismount to find and put on their boot from a pile, and race back to the finish line.

How the Boot Race Works
(LEADLINE CLASS)

  • Setup: Riders line up at one end of the arena. Each contestant removes one boot before the start. Adult leads Horse.

  • The Pile: All the removed boots are placed in a pile or designated zone at the opposite end of the arena.

  • The Go Signal: When the announcer says go, riders are lead down to pile of boots (go fast Leader its a race)

  • The Finish: Riders dismount safely, sort through the pile to find their specific boot, put it on their foot, Leader of horse can help with the remount  and Ride back to start  to win.

*Will be hand timed with stop watches and Flaggers.
*Pee Wee must be wearing there boot when they cross the finish
    *must be lead
