In Loving Memory
Somewhere...somewhere in time's own
space

There must be some sweet pastured
place

Where creeks sing on and tall trees
grow

Some Paradise where horses go.

For by the love that guides my pen

I know great horses live again.

Old Timers often say; a person only gets one good dog and one
good horse in their life. Well if this is true I count my self among
the truly blessed as I have had the opportunity to be near and own
many great horses and great dogs. This page is dedicated to some
of these great animals who now roam the pasture of heaven.
Although Buddy only lived with me for 2 weeks
until finding a home with Joan (one of the kindest
people I know) He will alway have a place in my
family hearts and the hearts of anyone who met
him. Joan gave buddy the best months of his life
and we are great full she could hold him as he
went on to his giant doggie bed in heaven.
The late great DR RUDE DUDE, Doc this horse was truly all heart and
everything he did was with heart. I learned more from 2 years riding this
amazing horse then I ever have or probably ever will from one horse. He
was a speed demon my favorite memories of our time together where simply
us running as fast as he could go down the dirt road hair flying. I never did
get to kiss him good bye with his sudden passing but he is deeply missed
and I owe most of my training success to the love and kindness this horse
taught me in his subtle spook little ways. My first bridleless barrel horse will
forever run in my heart every time I enter the arena, I hope for his sake god
leaves his stall light on and has a big race track.

Easy Leo Saint "Roofus", We lost Roofus before
we even got to know him. He died from
complications from hernia surgery. Truly an
uncommon thing. He was just a year old but a
very easy to get along with colt. He will truly be
missed by me and my family as I believe he had
tons of potential that will never be realized.
Lips of an angel, cash truely lived up came when my mom
needed her most and taught her some very valuable lessons.
We will never know why we lost her so young but, we will
thank god for letting us get to know her at all. She was
putting together an impressive show record and was set to
premier at her first AQHA show when we lost her August
2009. She died of a lesion her stomach. she fought a galant
battle but just couldnt over come it.
family member of 13 years, after a long
struggle with her health we laid Cee Cee to rest
next to her best friend sage. She had been
Ashley's constant companion for nearly 13 years
and just the kind of dog that once you met her
you always remembered her. there  will forever
never be the same without her but we will keep
her close to our heart and never let her go.
Zans Country Bar also known as Diesel, lived with us for 2 years not nearly
long enough, he was Lances horse but Ashley rode him more than anyone
else, he was coming along beautifully for pole bending with a 3rd place
finish at Wyoming state fair AQHA show, as well as a 3rd in barrels. That
was diesel first and last AQHA show. He did everything with heart from
helping lance hone his roping skills to doing halter class with Jessica truly
one of a kind horse. In october 2011 diesel lost a gallant battle with chronic
colic, the vets did everything they could to save him but it wasn't ment to be.

Cowboy was Ashley's first big horse. He taught
me more than any other horse has ever. He
wasn't a dream horse he tested me, refused,
bucked, reared, and general naughtyness. He
was great horse the greatest, Cowboy lived with
me for 19 years, he was 30 when he passed
away after a brief battle with cancer.
