| Chex and Ashley have been a team since fate and some good luck brought them together. Upon losing her good horse Doc, Ashley called a great friend Jamie Kristjanson and said start searching I need a young gelding that I cant start on barrels immediately. That where chex comes in, he was a roping horse when Ashley bought Him they immediately went to the barrel pen and started training. When she began training on chex Ashley realized she had found a very special horse, capable of running high 3d and sometimes 2d times turn around the next day and show in trail and horsemanship and place. In an era of specialized horses you don't often find a horse that will compete all the way around. Ashley and Chexs next goal is to show in ranch versatility so watch for them this summer. chex continues to add to his amazing resume with ribbons and points in all around AQHA, Trail, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Reining, and working cow horse. Ashley and Chex have begun to train for cowboy mounted shooting and will show around Wyoming and Montana all summer.
