| Rico has spent the summer in show training and then had a break where he did nothing for a while, after the break he went to a show 6 hours from home came home 3rd in Open Trail, and made a good showing in western pleasure but did not place. He has also been doing some trail riding, patterned on the barrels and tracked a few steers. His price has gone up and will continue to do so due to his exceptional talent. Spring 2010 NWC Commencement Show Junior Horse All Around competitor 3rd Place, 2nd in western Pleasure 2nd in Horsemanship 2nd in Trail. This colt is a serious competitior and you wont find another like him. Rico now has a year of training on him hes has been ridden in training and development class at NWC College. He also has been through a Cameron Meisner Clinic. Has been shown one time and won 5 and under Western Pleasure, 5th in western horsemanship, 2nd in Open Trail, and won the Halloween costume contest. He also has been packed and ridden in the mountains and loved it. Hes started walk trot on the barrels, extremely willing even a little lazy in his attitude. Sweet colt loves people. Rico Clips like a champ, loves a good bath, stand for the farrier, load in the trail just aim him at it and he goes to it and gets in on his own. Rides indoors and has been hauled extensively with the show horses. Rides in bosal, snaffle, or halter. Does trail already not scared of any obstacles, Has both leads down, voice and leg commands. Lunges and ground drives, this colt is absolutely the best 2 year old I have ever ridden they dont get any better then this one, hes correct in his structure and has an amazing head under his winter hair. This colts price will not go down and if you don't grab him soon I probably will change my mind I really like this colt and think I might be making a mistake selling him. |
