The Brag Board
Keaten Martin and GD DAKOTA DUST "Phineas". They are one of my
favorite Duos, You wont find a better crew then Phin and keaten. I bought
Phineas from a good Friend Alicia Taggert
www.lazygperformancehorses.com. I then did his basic training, when
keatens family came to look at him it was love at first site. Keaten under
the guidance of his parents and Trainer (Bridget Benson, Benson
Performance Horses rocksprings Wy.) has become a force to reckon with
at the Sweet water even center show serious. He has won geldings 3 and
under everytime hes shown. 6th in youth showmanship. and won reserve
grand champion gelding at the last show.
In the future you may want to
remember Keaton and Phineas
they have big plans and we wish
them the best of luck.

Phineas was truly a special colt, He
was broke in 2 days, had never
even been saddled when i
purchased him and within two days
I was riding him. As far as I know
he is yet to behave badly. Comically
yes badly no
.
Phineas is a 2005 buckskin APHA
gelding. click here for bloodlines
Amy and L'esprite Promise, Promise as Amy calls her, was sold to me by Alicia Taggert of Lazy G Performance
Horses. She has been a broodmare for 13 years and when Alicia decided to down size her herd I quickly
snatched up the chance to own Promise. She didn't need much training as she has done it all in her lifetime.
I trade Promise to Amy in return for a months stall cleaning and horse grooming. Amy and Promise are
currently learning together to barrel race and to ride english. These to will premier there show talent this
year at park county fair..they will barrel race this summer at our local barrel races. Amy also is planning to
have one more colt out of promise she will be exposed to Gage our Chex for a 2010 foal.

Amy and Promises journey ended in march
2009 when promise suffered a broken leg in an
unknown accident in the pasture. she will be
dearly missed.
Horses on this page are horses Smallwood Horses have
owned and sold, or found for clients. These horses are
some of our best. Thanks to the owners for giving us a shot
Willow was my first training project and i took him as a 4H project.
however will never had the desire to be a barrel or show horse his true
passion was to trail ride. and after a year or two of soul searching i
decide he would be a much happier horse if he went to a new home
Jodie of Colorado Willow will spend the rest of his days and her fearless
steed tromping through the mountains. They will have so much fun
together, hopefully we will have a picture of Jodie and Willow Trail
riding soon
.
Wednesday didn't live with us long but its all the time she
needed to find the perfect home for her, she now lives with
Megan and her daughters in Montana. she has bonded quickly
with her new family and has grown attached to her two young
handlers being very careful and attentive to them. she's a
lucky mare with her pink ribbons and poka dotted blanket.

Hopefully we will have pictures of them to post soon!!!
